Acrobats and Playmates

HEY! You wanna see a trick?  APM01

TAAA DAAA!!!

APM02

What? You’re not impressed?

Well, then Watch This.

APM07

APM09

Thanks. I thought you would like it.

APM10

Yes. It is fun around here. So much to do.

If ever you are bored, just call your buddy.

APM11

He will come down to play every time.

APM11a

Then you can square off

APM12

and go chasing each other all around the yard.

APM13

APM14

APM14a

Yes, indeed. It is FUN.

I must confess, though.  What we do more than anything is sniff for food.

APM15

It’s usually pretty easy, but it gets a little tricky in the snow.

APM15b

Of course, you can always go for the cool silver tray bird feeder,

APM15c

unless it’s occupied.

APM16

In which case I just like to relax and watch the action

APM17

until I’m ready to join the fun.

APM17a

Chasing after my buddy

APM17b

or flying off through the woods alone.

APM18

I love it.

What?

APM19

You would like to see another trick?

Certainly.

Hmmmm. Let’s see….

APM20

I know.

TAAA DAAA!!!

APM21

Good Bye. Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Love the squirrel narration! 🙂 In my previous garden there was once an exceptionally talented one when it came to accessing bird feeders, so much so that I eventually named him Macguyver because that squirrel could figure out ANYTHING!

    1. Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed it. They are rather brilliant, aren’t they? I gave up on the idea that I would keep them out of the feeders and just let them join the fun. They are so cute and interesting. Have a wonderful day. 🙂
