Nope. Definitely k-i-s-s-i-n-g. They are LOVE birds. Didn’t you read the title? 🙂
If it were January, I’d buy it; but nope, this time of year we’ve got ornery bird folks fighting over whose turn it is to regurgitate worms. “whooooooooooose turn? You, you, you”
Well, I suppose I could have written “Two hungry birds sitting in a tree, r-e-g-u-r-i-t-a-t-iiii-nnn-ggg.” But, you know, that lacks a certain sense of poetic beauty and rather fails to tap the reader into their inner childhood. Plus, I can tell by your comment that you know the Mourning Dove call. “hoowoo hoowoo hoooo hoooo hoooo” on and on, all day long, often times in unison, ever so slightly off-pitch. It’s haunting. It’s beautiful. Such lovely songs have never been sung about food. Never! They are sung about love. These are LOVE BIRDS Nate. K-I-S-S-I-N-G! “hoowoo hoowoo, I want youuuuuu.” That’s the message. 🙂
Lol Jim!
🙂 Have a great day, Julie. 🙂
How sweet! – Sharon
Thanks. They sing all day long. 🙂
I guess there’s no privacy in your garden!
Nope, no privacy. But at least I have the decency to blush when taking the pictures. 🙂
my six year old sees this and states “Oh Mum, they’re marrying!”
As I understand it, they do “marry” and remain monogamous. However it works, these two sure do like each other. 🙂
That’s a beautiful pictures : birds, love and green colors !
Christiane in English! Awesome. Do you grow weary of my awful French? 🙂 Thank you as always for your kind and considerate comment. You have an excellent eye for the artistic composition of the scene. Merci. Bonne journee! 🙂
I hope my english is so good as your french ! 🙂 I wish you a very good day
You are very kind. I’m having a good day, early morning though it may yet be. 🙂
